INTRO
Cascada Praha is a contemporary residential development that reinterprets the spirit of Prague’s historic neighborhoods through a layered, community-oriented design. Situated on the sloping terrain of Florenc 21, the project spans Blocks B03 and B05, framing vibrant public plazas and pedestrian corridors. By embracing the site’s natural topography, the design activates the ground plane with a dynamic retail frontage and creates seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor living.
Drawing inspiration from Prague’s iconic architecture and the festive energy of the Bohemian Carnival, the design merges tradition with modernity. Modular, stepped façades echo the rhythm of the city’s historic streets while staggered balconies and recessed terraces introduce depth, privacy, and a sense of discovery. Colorful accents and lush greenery punctuate the façades, animating the “urban canyon” formed between the two blocks and fostering social interaction at every level.
The residential program offers a diverse mix of unit sizes to support multigenerational living, while retail spaces at street level activate the edges and reinforce civic engagement. With its blend of rhythm, color, and context, Cascada Praha captures the evolving identity of Prague—deeply rooted in history, yet always looking forward.
