Structural columns have been repurposed into a functional feature wall, integrating an intimate workspace and a cozy nook. By integrating textured glass bricks and fluted glass sliding doors, we allowed natural daylight to filter deeply into the interior, creating a luminous and inviting arrival sequence. Throughout the residence, rounded corners replace rigid junctions, lending a fluid softness to the floor plan.
On the lower level, the living and dining rooms are seamlessly connected, guided by the transition in floor tiles. A full-height glass sliding door opens the dining space directly to the backyard, completely blurring the boundary between indoors and out. The exterior reads not merely as a view beyond the glass, but as a natural, expansive continuation of the dining experience itself.
