Set into the sloping terrain of a Prague neighbourhood in transition, Cascada Praha steps with the land rather than imposing upon it. The two residential blocks are arranged to frame a shared public plaza between them—a space that belongs as much to the street as to the residents above. At ground level, retail activates the edges; above, terraced balconies give each unit its own relationship with the city.
The façades draw from the rhythm of Prague's historic streets: modular and stepped, punctuated by recessed terraces and lush greenery that animates the canyon formed between the blocks. A diverse mix of unit sizes supports the kind of layered, multigenerational life the neighbourhood already has. The project is deeply rooted in its context—and quietly, deliberately looking forward.
